HORSESHOE COVE SHIPWRIGHTS

" Plym"

Built in Norway in 1945, being hauled into our boat shed for a refurbishment . The bottom has been stripped.

"Plym" after restoration. We fitted a new rudder, glass sheathed the hull in two layers of quadraxial cloth, moved the motor into the centre line and installed a new shaft and skeg. We stripped her mahogany hull and cabin and re-varnished her after replacing some rotted timber.

"Plym" is a magnificent sight with her laid teak deck, mahogany cabin and european oak bulwark capping.
